Diaspora Dialogues at Patta Amsterdam

This Friday, April 25th at Patta Amsterdam, 17:30 till 19:00, in celebration of the brand new Patta x waf. collab, we’re inviting the community to reflect on what homecoming really means today.

Our perception of community has shifted. Unlike our parents—who often stuck to people from the same culture, religion, or country—we’re building bridges. Our friends come from everywhere, and our sense of belonging lives across borders.

We’ll open the night with Osaye Osawe—a Nigerian-born, Amsterdam-based painter—who will share his story through art. From there, we expand into a collective dialogue with everyone in the room. No stage, no filter—just real voices, shared memories, and maybe even new ones being made. A cross-continental playlist has been curated for the vibe and we will have Jollof rice and Supermalt to wrap up the convosation with flavor. Come through, bring your people, and let’s talk about what it means to really belong - RSVP here!
